The closest sandy beach to Batelo is just below Angsana Hotel, 100 meters to the right (as you exit our property) on the left handside on the seaside. Sunbeds and umbrellas are offer at an extra charge.

Benitses Blue Flag Beach

A blue flag awarded beach only 800 meters away from Batelo offering a variety of beach bars and restaurants. You can lie on the beach and order some of your favorite drinks and snacks as well as enjoy water sports activities.

Chalikounas-Alonaki

What an amazing place to visit! Immaculately beautiful and mesmerizing, this spot is where the sea meets the lake. Korrision lake where pink flamingos are visiting during spring time stretches towards the seaside and the phenomenon is absolutely unique. Chalikounas is a very long sandy beach including spaces available for extra privacy and nudists. If you prefer to be around people and you want to dance along the music beats with a cold drink on your hand then go for one of the beach bards found towards the end of the coast. Kite surfing is also one of the hot activities in the area. The water is usually warm and the depth of the sea is gradual starting from swallow and deepening as you walk in. Alonaki is just beside Chalikounas and apart from the small cove you can also find a great restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine. The views are fantastic.

Issos

Long sandy hills and the endless sea will take your breath away. The most beautiful sunset can be observed by the sand hills of Issos. A must see place that will trigger all your senses and feelings. Only reachable on car or other vehicle.

Famous Beach

Palaiokastritsa

One of the most famous beaches on the island. A small cove with secret caves and perfect for scuba diving. You can also rent a boat (without requiring a driving license) to explore the coves and caves around the area. Do not miss to visit Rovinia beach which offers a scenery literally from another world. Clear crystal waters and wild nature all around you. The area offers a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops so stroll around before you go to have a good look. For the more adventurous ones, do not forget to visit La Grotta beach, a complex of rocks from which you can jump in a small cove feeling like a natural pool. A café-bar is built right on the rocks and is open during summer time. Reachable from the Green bus station in Corfu town.

Messongi

On of our favorite choices, this picturesque traditional village right on the sea is great to let go and unwind. Long sandy beach, warm water, ideal for families and couples that prefer tranquility. The atmosphere is unique due to the size of the village and the warmth of the locals. You can find small beach bars, cafes and restaurants as well. Water sports activities are also available. If you visit do not forget to come and see us in our second property, Aquarius Beach Eco-hotel where you can also use our pool including extremely comfy sun loungers and umbrellas for free. Reachable on the bus from Benitses village.

Rocky Beaches

Kassiopi-Bataria Beach

A beautiful village to the North of Corfu offering a variety of choices from restaurants to bars, shops and cafes. The marina is ideal to walk around. Bataria beach a bit further from the center is one of best beaches on the island. Due to its small size a limited number of umbrellas and sun loungers are available so its best to go early if you want to reserve a spot. You can take the bus from the Green bus station to Kassiopi.

Sidari-Canal d’Amor

The story tellers say that once you swim in with your partner you will stay together forever and ever in time. Not sure if this is the best choice you have, however visiting this volcanic scenery is an experience to remember. Located up in the very North of Corfu, it will take you approximately 1 hour and a half to reach there. When you are there, make sure you visit Loggas beach as well and specifically 7th heaven café which offers amazing views of the Ionian. Reachable on the bus from the Green bus station.

Glyfada Beach

One of the most famous sandy beaches with a great sunset. Pazuzu, the most popular beach bar in Corfu is located in Glyfada and organize some of the best party events with famous DJs. In peak time season it is required to place a booking for sun loungers and umbrellas.

Prasoudi-Paramonas

Located in the South of Corfu, these two beaches are very close to each other and offer a long sandy coast. The water tends to be deeper that Chalikounas and Mesongi but are less busy and the scenery is amazing. Beautiful sunsets and tavernas around as well as many shops and restaurants. These beaches are reachable on the bus.

Beautiful pebbled beach offering plenty of space for everyone. A favorite spot on the North close to Kalami, Kerasia is one of the most popular beaches on the coast famous for its clear crystal water.

Up on the North close to Kerasia beach, Kalami is a small fishing village right below the mount of Pantokrator. Combines the beauty of the mountain and the sea. Famous for Durrels House and the White House Restaurant. The coast is quiet small and pebbled. You can see lots of expensive yachts and sailing boats visiting the place during summer season.

Mikro Nisi

Mikro Nisi is located in the South of Corfu in Agios Gordis. Combining green hills and crystal waters is ideal for families and couples to enjoy the sea and cold water. There is also a famous beach bar restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine recipes drafted by a Cretan chef.
