The Shell Museum
This interesting museum is a private initiative of the diver and collector Mr. Napoleon Sagias, who lived in Australia for more than 20 years and returned in 1989 to his homeland, Corfu. Then, having a large collection of seashells and fish fossils, he decided to open this museum, that is now managed by his family. A large collection of shells, fossils, sponges, corals, stuffed fish, sharks and shark teeth, lobsters, crabs, sea urchins, snakes of the sea and many other interesting pieces are now exhibited in the museum.

The Roman Baths
The Roman Baths in Benitses are one of the best preserved archaeological sites of the Roman era in Corfu. The colorful mosaic on the floor in the Roman Baths in Benitses is one of the most impressive. It is decorated with elaborate geometrical shapes, while the floor of the second room covered with an arch is adorned with black and white marble.

Laopetra Stone
Approaching the village from the town of Corfu, we will encounter a large stone with a very fine base in the sea that has been there for centuries, Laopetra, which is where the first beach of Benitses is in very shallow and clear waters. It is the characteristic stone of the area that has starred in several photographs and paintings.
